INGREDIENTS
Green peas/matar - 1 cup
Finely chopped methi leaves - 1 cup
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
Green chilly - 1
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 4 tbsp
Asafortida - a pinch
METHOD
Heat oil in a pan.
Add asafoetida and cumin seeds to crackle.
Add ginger garlic paste and saute for one mins.
Add matar,ginger garlic paste,green chilly,red chilly powder,turmeric powder ,salt and saute for 4 - 5 mins
Once cooled,grind to make a paste.
Wash and finely chop the methi leaves.
Take a bowl add wheat flour,matar paste,methi leaves and salt and make a soft dough using little water at a time.
Keep aside for 15 mins.
Divide the dough into equal size balls.
Sprinkle little water and roll them with rolling pin.
Place the paratha over the hot pan as soon as looks like brown
Flip over and cook on the other side till brown.
Applying oil on both the sides.
Take off the pan and serve hot.
