CARROT AND POPPY SEEDS PARATHA


Prep Time : 25 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS
Wheat flour  -  1 cup
Grated carrot  - 1 cup
Cinnamon powder  -  1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder  -  1/2 tsp
Salt  -  to taste
Asafoetida/hing  -  a pinch
Poppy seeds/khuskhus  -  2 tbsp
Clarified butter/ghee  -  4 tbsp

METHOD
Take a large bowl combine all above listed ingredients and also add one tbsp clarified butter.
Make a soft dough.
Keep aside for 15 mins.
Divide the dough into equal size balls.
Place the paratha over the hot pan as soon as looks like brown.
Flip over and cook on the other side till brown.
Applying clarified butter on both the sides.
Take off the pan and serve hot.
