PANEER CHETTINAD

Serve :  2

INGREDIENTS
Paneer - 250 gms cut in diced
Whole red chilly - 4 - 5
Whole black pepper  - 2 - 3
Cloves - 2 - 3
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
Green cardamom - 2
Black cardamom - 1
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Onion paste - 1 onion
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Tomato paste - 1 tomato
Salt - to taste
Oil - 3 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp


METHOD
Heat one tbsp oil in a pan add whole red chilly,whole black pepper,cloves,cinnamon,black cardamom,green cardamom,coriander seeds,cumin seeds and fry in a medium flame. and strain it,once cooled ,add some water and make a paste.
Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds to crackle,add onion and ginger garlic paste and cpook in a medium flame,now add tomato paste and saute for few mins.
Add turmeric powder and kashmiri mirch powder and mix well
Add fried garam masala and cook until oil leaves the pan
Add one cup of water and bring to boil,once boiled add paneer cubes and salt and cook for five mins.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
