INGREDIENTS
Yellow moong dal - 1 cup
Poha - 1 cup
Chopped spinach - 1 cup
Spinach puree - 1 cup
Chopped onion - 1
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Clarified butter -2 tbsp
METHOD
Wash and soak poha for 30 mins,take a pan add moong dal and four cup of water,turmeric powder,red chilly powder and coriander powder and cook until half cook.
Add soaked poha,spinach and salt and cook for five mins,now add spinach puree and cook for five mins and turn off the flame.
Heat clarified butter in a pan add cumin seeds to crackle,now add chopped onion and saute until dark brown and temper the khichdi
Serve hot.
