ALOO MATAR KI SUBJI

Cooking Time : 25 mins
Serve :2

INGREDIENTS
Potatoes - 250 gms
Peas/matar - 1 cup
Finely chopped onion - 1
Thick curd - 1/2 cup
Coriander powder  - 1 tbsp
Amchur powder - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri mirch powder - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Green chilly - 2 cut in slit
Salt - to taste
Clarified butter - 4 tbsp
Finely chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Crushed ginger - 1 tsp
Garlic cloves - 4 - 5

METHOD
Wash peel and cut the potatoes into four parts.
Prick with fork and deep fry it and,keep aside
Heat clarified butter in a pan,add cumin seeds to crackle now add onion and saute until transparent add ginger garlic  and saute for one mins once cooled to make a paste.
Take a bowl add curd,coriander powder,turmeric powder,red chilly powder,kashmiri red chilly powder,amchur powder and mix well
Again heat clarified butter in a pan add curd mixture and green chilly into the pan and stir continuously now add onion mixture and saute until oil leaves the pan.
Add green peas  and cook for few mins. now add fried potatoes and mix well.
Add salt and one cup of water and  bring to boil
Cover it and cook for  low flame for ten mins.
Garnish with green coriander leaves.
Serve hot with chapati
