LEMON CAKE

 


Prep Time : 25 mins
Cooking Time : 50 mins
Serve : 8
INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour/ maida   -   1 cup cup
Baking powder   -  1 tsp
Baking soda - 1 tsp
Vanilla custard    -  1/2 cup
Butter- 1 cup
Sugar     -  1 cup
Curd - 1 cup
Grated lemon zest-    1 tsp
Lemon juice   - 2 tsp

METHOD
Sieve all purpose flour / maida,baking soda and baking powder together.
Take a mixing bowl add butter and sugar and mix until creamy and fluffy.
Beat the curd and add it.
Add all purpose flour/ maida,baking soda and baking powder and mix well.
Add grated lemon zest in it.
Add lemon juice and mix well.
Preheat oven to 180 degree c.
Grease and dust with flour a 9 inch round baking cake pans.
Pour the batter into dish.
Bake for 60 mins. in the preheat oven.
Now the lemon cake is ready.
Check by inserting a knife, if it comes out clear it done.
