MANGO RASAM


Prep Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS
Raw mango - 1
Toor dal - 1/4 cup
Salt - to taste
Chopped tomato - 1
Jaggery - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
Grated ginger - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 4 - 5
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Clarified butter - 1 tsp
Green chilly - 1
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Black mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp

METHOD
Boil raw mango in pressure cooker with one cup of water for 4 - 5 mins,once cooled to make a paste
Also boil the toor dal with two cup of water for 5 - 6 mins
Wash and chop the tomato.
Heat one tsp clarified butter in a pan.
Add black mustard seeds,cumin seeds and green  chilly now add raw mango paste,curry leaves and coriander leaves and mix well
Add chopped tomato,jaggery and ginger  and mix it well.now add boiled dal and turmeric powder and cook for five mins
Turn off the flame
