SCHEZWAN PANEER

 


Prep Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 25 mins
Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS
Paneer cubes -200 gms
Whole red chilly - 7 - 8
Corn flour - 3 tbsp
All purpose flour - 2 tbsp
Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Sugar - 1 tsp
Finely chopped garlic - 1 tsp
Finely chopped ginger - 1 tsp
Finely chopped onion - 1/2 cup
Soy sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato sauce - 1 tsp
Green chilly cut in slit - 3 - 4
Oil - 1/2 cup

METHOD
Deseed the red chilly and soak in a warm water for half an hour and make a paste
Marinate paneer with corn flour,all purpose flour, salt, black pepper little amount of water to make thick batter.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the marinated paneer cubes and strain it.
Again heat one tbsp oil in a pan,add ginger garlic and saute for one mins now add onion and saute until transparent
Add red chilly paste and mix well,add soy sauce and tomato sauce and mix well
Add salt and sugar and mix
Add paneer cubes and cook for five mins,turn off the flame
Serve hot with fried rice or chowmein
