Milk - 5 cup
Rice - 50 gms
Clarified butter - 1 tbsp
Saffron - few strands
Sugar - 4 tbsp
Green cardamom - 1/4 tsp
Cheery - for garnishing
Cashew nuts - 1 tbsp
Silver coated almonds - 1 tbsp
Rose water - 1 tsp
METHOD.
Wash the rice and mix the clarified butter and keep aside
Mix the saffron strands in one tbsp warm milk and keep aside
Boil milk in a heavy bottom vessel
Once boiled,keep it in a low flame
Add rice clarified butter mixture and stir occasionally,scrap the corner.
Add sugar and saffron milk mixture and mix well.
Add cardamom powder and roughly chopped cashew nuts ,almonds and rose water and mix well.
Garnish with silver coated almonds and cherry almonds.
