QUINOA AND APPLE KHEER

 Cooking Time : 25 mins
 Serve : 2


 INGREDIENTS
 Apple - 1
Quinoa- 1/4 cup
 Milk - 4 cup
 Pistachio - 2 tbsp
 Sugar - 2 tbsp
 Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
 Cashew nuts - 1 tsp
Clarified butter - 2 tsp

 METHOD
 Remove the skin of the apple and cut in a small pieces
. Heat clarified butter in a pan add apple and one tbsp sugar and cook for five mins in low flame.
 Now turn off the flame.
Soak quinoa for half an hour and strain the water and heat oil in a pan and add the quinoa and saute for five minutes now turn off the flame.
 Heat milk in a heavy bottom vessel
. Once boiled keep it in the low flame,stirring in between. 
Add quinoa a,apple and sugar and mix well
. Cook in  a low flame until thick.
. Add cardamom powder and cashew nuts and mix well.
 Garnish with pistachio and serve hot.
