ONION PARATHA

 


Prep Time : 25 mins
Cooking Time  : 45 mins
Serve  : 4

INGREDIENTS
Multigrain  wheat flour - 2 cup
Chopped spinach - 250 gms
Salt - to taste
Onion seeds - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Butter - 50 gms
Finely chopped onion - 2
Garam masala powder -  1 tsp
Kashmiri red chilly powder  -  1 tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves  -  1 tbsp

METHOD
Wash and chop spinach. and blanch it
Once cooled,take a blender make a paste
In a kneading bowl,mix wheat flour,spinach,carom seeds onion seeds,one tbsp clarified butter and salt.
Make a soft dough with the help of little water.
Keep aside for 15 mins.
Take a bowl add onion,kashmiri red chilly powder,garam masala powder,coriander leaves,carom seeds and onion seeds and mix well.
Press the dough ball into onion,garam masala , kashmiri mirch p;owder and coriander leaves mixture
keep the topping side down and dust and roll the dough ball
On a heated pan,make parathas applying clarified butter both the sides
Once both the sides are cooked and golden brown in color.
Serve hot .
