CHICKEN MASALA


Prep Time  : 15 mins
Cooking Time  : 35 mins
Serve  : 2

INGREDIENTS
Chicken pieces  -  500 gms
Sliced onion  -  2
Ginger garlic paste  -  1 tbsp
Turmeric powder  -  1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder  -  1/2 tsp
Coriander powder  -  1 tbsp
Kashmiri mirch powder  -  1 tsp
Bay leaf  -  1
Green cardamom  -  1
Cinnamon  -  1 stick
Cloves  -  2 - 3
Curd  -  2 tbsp
Black pepper  -  3 - 4
Salt  -  to taste
Oil  -  4 tbsp

METHOD
Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste,curd,coriander powder,red chilly powder,turmeric powder and salt.
Keep aside for an hour.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add cinnamon,black pepper,green cardamom and cloves to crackle.
Add sliced onion and saute till pink.
Add marinated chicken and saute for 4 - 5 mins
Cover it and cook in low flame.
Add half cup of water and cook for five mins.
Add coriander leaves and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
