INGREDIENTS
Grated bottle gourd / lauki - 1 bowl
Sugar - 1/2 bowl
Lemon juice - 3 tsp
Salt - to taste
Cloves - 3 - 4
Black pepper - 3 - 4
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Raisins - 1 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
METHOD
Blanch the bottle gourd / lauki with one cup of water for five mins.
Strain it.
Heat oil in a pan,add black pepper,cloves and cardamom powder to splutter.
Add bottle gourd / lauki and sugar and saute till it gets thick.
Add salt and lemon juice.
Garnish with raisins.
Serve chilled
