Chickpea flour / besan - 250 gms
Chopped onion - 1
Ginger,garlic paste - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds - 1 /4 tsp
Garam masala - a pinch
Salt - to taste
Water - as required
METHOD
In a kneading bowl mix chickpea flour / besan,salt and 1/2 tsp oil.
Make a soft dough with the help of water.
Make balls and boil all the balls in a wok.
Strain it.
Cut it in a four pieces.
Heat oil in a wok.
Fry all chickpea flour / besan balls on low medium heat.
Heat up remaining oil put the cumin seeds to crackle.
Add onion stir well and saute for 5 mins till it gets pink color.
Add ginger garlic paste,coriander powder,red chilly powder,turmeric powder salt and stir well and saute for 4 - 5 mins
Add 2 cup of water and boil it.
When it boiled,add the chickpea flour / besan balls and switch off the gas.
Serve with rice or chapatis.
