INGREDIENTS
Saboot moong lentils / dal - 1 cup
Water - 3 cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Chopped onion - 1
Chopped green chilli - 1
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tsp
METHOD
Wash and soak the saboot moong lentils /dal for four hours.
Add 1 cup of saboot moong lentils /dal and 3 cup of water in a pressure cooker.
When cooker release the whistle simmer the gas for 10 mins.
Heat ghee in a wok.
Add cumin seeds to crackle.
Add onion n saute until golden in color.
Add ginger,garlic paste,turmeric powder,chopped green chilli and saute for 2 -3 mins.
Add it in a cooked lentils / dal n cover it for 2 - 3 mins.
Garnish with coriander leaves .
