BREAD KE GULAB JAMUN


INGREDIENTS
Bread slices                            -                                6
All purpose flour / maida         -                                1 tsp
Semolina                                -                                 1 tsp
Milk                                      -                                 4 tbsp
Cardamom powder                  -                                 1/2 tsp
Mawa                                    -                                  50 gms
Oil                                        -                                  1/2 cup
Sugar                                    -                                   1 cup
Water                                    -                                   1/2 cup
 Sugar powder                        -                                   1 tbsp
Baking powder                       -                                   a pinch

METHOD
In a bowl take mawa,sugar powder and cardamom powder and mix well.
Dip the bread in a milk and squeeze the excess milk from the bread.
Add all purpose flour / maida ,semolina /suji and baking powder in the bread mixture and mix well.
You can make a soft dough.
Divide the dough into equal size  balls.
Stuff the mawa feeling in the dough and roll into balls.
Heat enough oil in a non stick pan fry the bread balls golden n crispy.
Drain in paper napkin.

For the sugar syrup
Heat sugar and water in a pan keep it medium flame for 8 - 10 mins.
When it gets thick it means syrup is ready.
Add cardamom powder.
Add fried gulab jamun and serve hot.
