CHICKEN KORMA


Prep Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 30 mins
Serve : 4

INGREDIENTS
For marination
Chicken - 500 gms
Curd - 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
For gravy
Sliced onion - 1 cup
Curd - 2 tbsp
Green cardamom - 1
Cashew nuts - 4
Almonds - 4
Cloves - 3 - 4
Whole black pepper - 3 - 4
Cinnamon - 1inch stick
Green chilly - 2 cut in slit
Water - 1 cup
Salt - to taste
Oil - 4 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp

METHOD
Marinate chicken with curd,ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,red chilly powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder and salt.
Keep aside for 30 mins.
Heat oil in a pan and fry onion until pink and also fry cashew nuts and almonds.
Heat oil in a pan and add whole garam masala to crackle.
Add marinate chicken and cook on medium heat.
Add fried onion paste and curd and mix well.
Add one cup of water and cover the lid and cook in a low flame until is cooked.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
