CARROT GINGER SOUP


Prep Time : 20 mins
Cooking Time : 30 mins
Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS
Grated carrot  -  3 cup
Grated ginger  - 1/4 cup
Cumin seeds  -  1/4 tsp
Carom seeds  -  1/4 tsp
Asafoetida/hing - a pinch
Water  - 2 cup
Salt  -  to taste
Sugar  -  2 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Butter  -  1 tbsp

METHOD
Heat butter in a pan.
Add cumin seeds,carom seeds and asafoetida/hing.
Add carrot and ginger and saute for 15 mins.
Once cooled.add 2 cup of water in a blender and m ake a paste.
Add sugar salt and boil in the pan.
Before serving add lemon juice and black pepper powder.
