URAD KI DAL PALAK

 Cooking Time : 20 mins
 Serve :2

 INGREDIENTS
 Yellow urad dal - 1/2 cup
 Finely chopped spinach - 1 cup
 Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
 Cumin seeds powder - 1/2 tsp
 Salt - to taste
 Oil - 1 tbsp
 For tempering
Clarified butter/ghee - 1 tbsp
 Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Finely chopped ginger - 1 tsp
 Chopped tomato - 1
 Coriander leaves - 1 tsp
 Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp

 METHOD
 Wash urad dal/split and add in the pressure cooker with salt,spinach and three cup of water.
 When cooker release the whistle sim the flame for five mins.
 Once cooled,mix them well.
Heat clarified butter in a pan.
 Add asafoetida, cumin seeds,tomato,ginger and red chilly powder and mix well.
 Add ready urad dal in the pan and mix well.
 Add urad dal in the service bowl and serve with chapati.
 Heat clarified butter in a pan. Add cumin seeds and garlic cloves fry till dark brown.
 Tempered the dal,serve hot.
