AUGUST PHOOL PAKORA / AUGUST FLOWER FRITTERS

Cooking Time  : 10 mins
Serve : 4

INGREDIENTS
August phool / august flower   -   8 - 10
Gram flour / besan    -   1/2 cup
Rice flour   -   2 tbsp
Carom seeds   -  1/4 tsp
Onion seeds  -   1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder  -   1/2 tsp
Garlic paste   -  1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder  -  1/4 tsp
Baking soda  -   a pinch
Salt   -  to taste
Oil   -  for frying.

METHOD
Wash august flowers and discard stigma.
Take a large bowl add gram flour,rice flour,carom seeds,onion seeds,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,garlic paste,salt and baking soda.
Make a smooth batter with the help of 1/2 cup of water.
Heat oil in a pan.
Deep fry the pakora.
Dip the flower into the batter and deep fry until golden brown n crispy.
Serve hot.
