Ring shape onion                           -                                1 bowl
Gram flour / besan                         -                                1 bowl
Rice flour                                       -                               1/4 bowl
Salt                                                 -                                to taste
Red chilly powder                          -                               1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder                            -                               1/4 tsp
Oil                                                   -                               for frying

Wash and chop onion in a ring shape.
Dip in the salt water for half an hour.
Take a bowl combine gram flour,rice flour,salt,red chilly powder and turmeric powder and mix well.
Add some water and make a thick batter.
Heat oil in a pan.
Dip the onion rings into the batter.
Coat them well.
Fry them golden and crispy.
Drain in paper napkin.
Serve hot with tea.
