MAWA KE SHAHI MALPUA

Serves : 2

INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour / maida    -    25 gms
Mawa /whole dried milk     -    200 gms
Sugar         - 200 gms
Water         -   50 gms
Cardamom powder      -  1/4 tsp
Saffron / kesar        -  1 pinch
Clarified butter / ghee    -  100 gms

METHOD
Take a bowl add mawa / whole dried milk and all purpose flour / maida and mix well.
Add one tbsp water and make a soft dough.
Make an equal size balls.
Flatten the balls into thin round like puri.
Heat clarified butter / ghee in a pan.
Add malpua,lower the heat and fry till light brown.
In another pan add sugar and water till sugar disolves.
Add saffron and cardamom powder.
Bring into two sting consistency.
Soak the malpua in the sugar syrup.
Shahi malpua is ready to serve.
