INGREDIENTS
Jackfruit /kathal pieces - 250 gms
Cashew nuts - 25 gms
Cloves - 2 - 3
Soaked chana dal / bengal gram - 1/2 cup
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Bay leaf - 1 - 2
Chopped green cvhilly - 1/2 tsp
Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tsp
Clarified butter - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
METHOD
Boil kathal / jackfruit pieces,soaked chana dal / bengal gram,cashew nuts,cloves,bay leaf,cinnamon in a pan for 20 mins.
After 20 mins strain it.
Remove the bay leaf,cloves and cinnamon sticks.
In a blender add kathal / jackfruit pieces,chana dal / bengal gram and cashew nuts and blend it.
In a kathal mixture we add green chilly,salt.garam masala powder and coriander leaves and mix well.
Divide the equal size balls.
Shape each ball to flat patties of medium thickness.
Heat clarified butter / ghee in a pan.
Place the kabab and shallow fry from both the sides.
Serve hot.
