CHICKEN CURRY


Prep Time : 20 mins
Cooking Time : 30 mins
Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS
Chicken  -  500 gms
Thick curd  - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder  - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder  -  1 tsp
Kashmiri red chilly powder  - 1 tsp
Whole black pepper  - 4 - 5
Cumin seeds  -  1 tsp
Green cardamom  - 2
Black cardamom  - 1
Cinnamon  - 1 inch stick
Cloves  -  3 - 4
Garlic cloves  -  7 - 8
Ginger  -  1 inch stick
Chopped onion  - 2
Onion paste  -   2 tbsp
Salt  - to taste
Mustard oil  - 4 tbsp
Clarified butter  - 2 tbsp

METHOD
Make a paste of ginger,garlic,cinnamon,black cardamom,green cardamom,cloves,black pepper and cumin seeds.
Marinate chicken with curd,salt,onion paste, spices paste,red chilly powder,turmeric powder , kashmiri mirch powder and,onion paste
Keep aside for 30 mins
Heat oil in a pan.
Add chopped onion and fry until transparent
Add marinated chicken and cover it and cook in a high flame for ten mins.
Cook in a slow flame for ten mins or oil seperates the pan
Add two tbsp clarified butter and mix well.
Add one cup of water and cook for five mins.
Serve with green garlic naan
