INGREDIENTS
Mutton - 1 k.g
Chopped onion - 200 gms
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Tomato puree - 2 tbsp
Hang curd - 200 gms
Cloves - 4 - 5
Whole black pepper - 4 - 5
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
Green cardamon - 2 - 3
Black cardamom - 1
Mace - 1 piece
Nutmeg / jaiphal powder - a pinch
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Mustard oil - 1 cup
METHOD
Marinate mutton with 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste,red chilly powder,hang curd and salt.
Keep aside for half an hour.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
Add cumin seeds and whole garam masala.
Add onion and fry till brown.
Add ginger garlic,hang curd,tomato puree,salt and all dry spices and mix well.
Add mutton pieces and stir fry for five mins.
Add two cup of water and coriander leaves and pressure cook in medium flame for three whistles.
Once cooled,garnish with coriander leaves.
