INGREDIENTS
Gooseberry / amla - 500 gms
Sugar - 500 gms
Salt - to taste
Black salt - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
METHOD
Wash and boil amla in a pressure cooker.
Once cooled,add in a blender to make a paste,remove the seeds.
Take a pan add amla / gooseberry paste and sugar till sugar disolves.
Stiring continuously on a low flame until thick consistency.
Add salt,black salt , red chilly powder and lemon juice and mix well.
Khatta meetha amla / gooseberry jam is ready to eat.
Store in a air tight container.
