PARWAL KI METHAI



Prep Time : 50 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serve : 4

INGREDIENTS
Parwal / pointed gourd  -   500 gms
Sugar     -   1.5 cup
Water     -  1 cup
For stuffing
Mawa - 1 cup
Chopped almond   - 1 tbs
Chopped cashew nuts  - 1 tbsp
Raisins - 1 tbsp
Grated coconut   - 1/2 cup
Sugar powder  - 1/4 cup
Cardamom powder    - 1/4 tsp


METHOD
Wash and remove the skin of the parwal /pointed gourd.
Scoop out well.
Take a pan add four cup of water,when it boiled add parwal and when it boiled turn off the flame and cover the lid for ten minutes.
Strain the parwal.
Take a pan add sugar and water and boil till sugar dissolves.
Bring into one string consistency.
Add pointed gourd and boil it  on sim flame till it color change.
Now turn off the flame and cover the lid for an hour. 
After an hour take off the parwal. 
Take mawa and dry roast for five mins and now add grated coconut, chopped almonds,chopped cashew nuts , raision,cardamom powdersand sugar powder and mix it well.
Now stuffing is ready.
Take one pointed gourd and fill the stuffing inside it.
Apply this process in all  pointed gourd.
Garnish with almonds.
