Prep Time : 30 mins.
Cooking Time : 45 mins
Serve : 4

Gram flour / besan                                  -                                1 cup
Red chilly powder                                   -                              1 tsp
Ajwain / carom seeds                              -                              1/4 tsp
Hing / asafoetida                                      -                              a pinch
Salt                                                           -                              to taste
Black salt                                                 -                              1/4 tsp
Oil                                                            -                               1 tbsp
Oil                                                            -                           for frying
Peanuts                                                     -                            100 gms
Lotus seeds / makhana                              -                          1/2 bowl

Take a bowl add gram flour, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder,salt,black salt,carom seeds,asafoetida and one tbsp oil and mix well.
Make a smooth dough with the help of little water .
Heat enough oil in a pan for deep frying the sev.
Use the sev maker machine and fixed in the sev plate.
Fill the machine  with the besan / gram flour dough.
When the oil is hot press the sev machine over the oil and put the gas in a medium flame.
Deep fry the sev and drain in a paper napkin.
In the same oil deep frythe peanuts in a low flame and strain it.
In the same oil fry the puffed lotus seeds / makahana in a low flame.
Take a large bowl combine besan sev,fried peanuts ,fried puffed lotus seeds/ makahana and mix well.
Season with salt,black salt and red chilly powder and mix well.
Serve with tea.
