ALOO MATAR KA BONDA / POTATO AND PEAS BONDA

Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS
For covering
Gram flour /besan      -   1/2 bowl
Red chilly powder     -   1/2 tsp
Salt         -  to taste
Carom seeds / ajwain        -   a pinch
Water     - as requried
For filling
Boiled n grated potato   -    1/2 bowl
Boiled peas / matar   -   1 tbsp
Curry leaves       -   8 - 10
Chopped green chilly   -  1/4 tsp
Crushed coriander seeds   -  1/4 tsp
Fennel seeds   -  1/4 tsp
Chopped garlic   -   1/4 tsp
Chopped onion         -   2 tbsp
Red chilly powder     -  1/4 tsp
Salt    -  to taste
Oil  - for frying

METHOD
Make a thick batter with the listed covering ingredients.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add crushed coriander seeds,fennel seeds / sauf,garlic and onion and stir for one mins.
Add blanched peas / matar,green chilly and curry leaves and mix well..
Season with red chilly powder and salt.
Add boiled and grated potatoes and mix well.
Now stuffing is ready.
Divide the stuffing into four parts
To make a round shape of stuffing dip in the thick batter..
Heat oil in a pan.
Deep fry the bonda golden and crispy.
Drain in paper napkin.
Serve hot with tea.
