INGREDIENTS
Paneer - 250 gms
Ginger - 1 inch stick
Garlic pods - 4 - 5
Onion - 2 medium size
Whole red chilly - 2 - 3
Whole coriander seeds - 1 tbsp.
Whole cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Tomato - 2
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Green chilly - 1 cut in slit
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
METHOD
Dry roast the whole red chilly,whole coriander seeds and cumin seeds.
Once cooled to make a powder.
Also make a paste of onion and ginger garlic.
Heat oil in a pan,add onion and ginger garlic paste and saute for 4 - 5 mins
Grind to make a paste of tomato and add in the pan,saute for 4 - 5 mins.
Now add turmeric powder and ground masala powder and mix well.
Add kashmiri mirch powder and green chilly and mix it well.
Stir continuously until oil leaves the pan.
Now add one cup of water and bring to boil.
Once boiled add paneer cubes,salt and garam masala and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with rice and chaptis.
