BENGALI MISTI PULAO

Serve : 4

INGREDIENTS
Gobindbhog rice  - 2 cup
Crushed cashew nuts - 1 tbsp
Crushed almonds - 1 tbsp
Raisins  - 1 tbsp
Green cardamom - 2
Turmeric powder  - 1/2 tsp
Sugar  - 3 tsp
Salt - to taste
Cloves - 2 - 3
Clarified butter - 1 tsp
Water  - 4 cup
Mint leaves for garnishing

METHOD
Wash and strain the gobind bhog rice.
Spread on the plate  for half an hour.
Heat clarified butter in a pan add cashew nuts,almonds and raisins fry and strain it
Add cloves,green cardamom and fry from one mins.
Now add rice,turmeric powder,,sugar and a pinch of salt and mix well.
Cook in a medium flame for five mins.
Add water,cashew nuts,almonds and raisins.
Cover the pulao and cook in a slow flame for 15 - 20 mins.
Turn off the flame
Garnish with mint leaves and serve
