BHAKARWADI

Cooking Time : 30 mins
Serve : 8

INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour  - 1 cup
Besan  - 1/2 cup
Clarified butter - 3 tbsp
Salt - to taste
For stuffing
Roasted white sesame seeds  - 2 tbsp
Roasted poppy seeds - 1 tbs
Grated coconut - 1 /2 cup
Fennel seeds - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Tamarind pulp - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Oil - for frying

METHOD
Take a large bowl add all purpose flour,gram flour,salt and clarified butter and mix well.
With the help of chilled water make a dough.
Keep aside for 30 mins.
Dry roast the sesame seeds,poppy seeds and grated coconut one by one.
Once cooled grind coarsely.
Take a bowl add coriander powder,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,cumin seeds,fennel seeds,salt,sugar,imli pulp and roasted sesame seeds mixture and mix well.
Now bhakarwadi stuffing is ready
Now roll the dough just like chapati
Grease with oil on the chapati and spread the filling on the chapati and roll it and seal the edges
Cut the bhakarwadi into small pieces.
Heat enough oil in a pan
Place the bhakarwadi lower the heat and fry till light brown.
