INGREDIENTS
Whole moong dal - 1 cup
Fresh green peas - 1 cup
Finely chopped onion - 1 small size
Grated ginger - 1 tsp
Finely chopped tomato - 1 small size
Finely chopped green chilly - 1
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Butter - 1 tbsp
Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 1 tsp
METHOD
Wash whole moong dal.
Pressure cook with four cup of water and salt
Heat butter in a pan.
Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds to crackle.
Add onion and saute till dark brown.
Add green chilly,tomato,ginger and green peas and cook in a medium flame.
When green peas are soft add whole moong dal and black pepper powder and cook for five mins.
Garnish with coriander leaves and fresh cream.
