INGREDIENTS
Bitter gourd/karela - 3
Finely chopped onion - 1
Grated ginger garlic - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Amchur powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Chopped green chilly - 2
Salt - to taste
Jaggery - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
METHOD
Wash and chop the bitter gourd/karela,add in the pressure cooker with half cup of water and turmeric powder.
After one whistle switch off the flame
Heat oil in a pressure cooker,add onion,ginger garlic and saute till golden brown.
Add all the spices, tomato and jaggery and mix well.
Add half boiled karela and green chill,cover it and cook in a slow flame for ten mins.
Add salt and mix well.
Serve hot with chapatis.
