INGREDIENTS
Chopped shimla mirch / capsicum - 2
Chopped onion - 1
Chopped garlic cloves - 2 - 3
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chilly powdedr - 1/2 tsp
Coriander seeds - 1/2 tsp
Whole red chilly - 1
Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
Grated coconut - 1 tbsp
Roasted peanuts - 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 /2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
METHOD
Heat pan.Add coriander seeds,whole red chilly,sesame seeds and coconut roast it.
In a blender add all these roasted ingredients and blend it to make a fine paste.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds to crackle.
Add chopped garlic,chopped onion and saute for 2 - 3 mins.
Add capsicum /shimla mirch and mix well.
Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder and saute for 4 - 5 mins.
Add roasted peanuts ,lemon juice,sugar and salt and mix well.
Add one cup of water and cook till gravy is thick.
Serve hot with chapati.
