Serve : 4

Cottage cheese / paneer                      -                          1 cup
Sugar                                                   -                          2 cup
Water                                                   -                       2.5 cup
Crushed cashewnuts                            -                          1 tbsp
Crushed pistachio                                -                          1 tbsp
Green cardamom powder                    -                        1/4 tsp
Kesar / saffron                                     -                 few strands
Sugar                                                   -                        1 tbsp

We mashed paneer / cottage cheese very well and add saffron / kesar and mix well.
Make a soft and smooth dough in eight equal size balls.
Roll each balls between your palms.
All the balls are made in the same way.
Mix one tbsp cottage cheese / paneer,1 tbsp sugar a pinch cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits for making stuffing.
Place 1/4 tsp  stuffing in paneer balls and close the stuffing nicely.
Roll each balls between your palms.
Shape each ball to flat patties of medium thickness.
All the balls are made in the same way.
Now we take pressure cooker and add two cup of sugar and two and half cup of water and also add the saffron paneer balls and steam it.
When cooker release the whistle simmer the gas for fifteen mins.
Once cooled,we open the lid.
Kheer mohan should be floating on the syrup and its size should be double.
Serve chilled.
