GAJAR HALWA IN MICROWAVE


Prep Time  : 15 mins
Cooking Time  : 20 mins
Serves  : 4

INGREDIENTS
Grated carrot / gajar                       -                           500 gms
Sugar                                              -                           3/4 cup
Whole dried milk / mawa              -                            1 cup
Clarified butter / ghee                    -                            3 tbsp
Green cardamom                           -                             1/4 tsp
Roughly chopped almonds            -                             1 tbsp
Roughly chopped cashew nuts      -                             1 tbsp
Raisins                                           -                             1 tbsp

METHOD
Take a large microwave proof  bowl add carrot,clarified butter / ghee and green cardamom powder and mix well.
Microwave in high for 7 - 8 mins.
Add sugar and mix well and microwavebin high for 5 mins,
Stir in between.
Add almonds ,cashew nuts, raisins and whole dried milk / mawa and microwave in high for 3 - 4 mins.
Stir in between.
Garnish with raisins.
