ROSE FLAVOUR PHIRNI


Prep Time   : 15 mins
Cooking Time  : 30 mins
Serves  : 2

INGREDIENTS
Milk           -  500 ml
Rose syrup - 4 tbsp
Rose water - 2 tbsp
Soaked basmati rice paste   -  1/4 cup
Sugar     -  2 tbsp
Raisins   -  1 tbsp
Silver coated almonds - 2 tbsp
Cherry - for garnishing



METHOD
Soak rice for an hour and make a paste.
Boil milk in a heavy bottom vessel.
Add  sugar and boil for five mins. add rice paste and mix well
Stir continuously for thickening the milk.
Turn off the flame and add the raisins and mix well
Once cooled add the rose syrup and rose water and mix well
Pour in the pot and keep in the fridge
Garnish with  silver coated almonds and cherry  and serve chilled.
