CHANA PALAK SOUP


Prep Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS
Chopped spinach - 1 cup
Boiled chickpea - 1/4 cup
Crushed ginger - 1/2 tsp
Crushed garlic - 1/4 tsp
Chopped onion - 1
Vegetable stock - 3 cup
Butter - 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste

METHOD
Soak chickpea for 4 - 5 hours and boil in a pressure cooker with one cup of water for ten mins
Once cooled to make a paste of chickpea.
Wash and chop the spinach,heat butter in a pan add ginger,garlic and onion and saute for one mins now add spinach  and saute for 2 - 3 mins and turn off the flame.
Once cooled to make the paste of spinach.
Heat butter in a pan and add chickpea paste and saute for 2 - 3 mins,now add spinach paste and mix well.
Add vegetable stock and bring to boil,once boiled keep it in a low flame and cook for ten mins.
Add salt black pepper powder,cumin seeds powder and mix well.
Serve hot.
