AMRITSARI CHICKEN RECIPE

Cooking Time : 30 mins
Serve : 4

INGREDIENTS
For marination
Chicken - 500 gms
Chopped onion - 1
Red chilly powder - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds powder - 1 tsp
Curd - 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste
For gravy
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Grated ginger - 1 tsp
Crushed garlic - 1 tsp
Tomato - 3 - 4
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 1/2 cup
Cream - 2 tbsp
Butter - 2 tbsp

METHOD
Wash and marinate chicken with ginger  garlic paste,onion,red chilly powder,cumin seeds powder,curd,lemon juice and salt.
Keep aside for 3 to 4 hours
Make the paste of tomatoes.
Heat butter in a pan and fry the marinated chicken cover it and cook in a high flame for five mins now cook in a slow flame for 5 mins until chicken turned into golden brown.
Heat oil in another pan and add red chilly powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and ginger garlic paste and saute for 4 - 5 mins
Now add tomato paste,sugar and salt and mix well.
Cook for 4 - 5 mins until oil leaves the pan.
Add fried chicken pieces and mix well.
Now add two cup of water and bring to boil,once boiled keep it in low flame for five mins add cream and mix well.
Serve hot
