INGREDIENTS
Chicken - 1 kg
Chopped onion - 4
Chopped tomato - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Whole red chilly - 3 - 4
Whole black pepper - 3 - 4
Cloves - 5 - 6
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
Green cardamom - 2
Black cardamom - 1
Mace - 1 piece
Clarified butter - 2 tbsp
Oil - 4 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri mirch powder - 1/2 tsp
METHOD
Wash the chicken pieces and keep aside.
Heat clarified butter in a pan.
Add chopped onion,whole garam masala,whole red chilly,chopped tomato and saute for 4 - 5 mins. in low flame.
Turn off the flame,once cooled to make a paste.
Heat oil in a pan,add ginger garlic paste and saute for one mins.
Now add chicken pieces and fry until oil seperate the pan.
Add whole garam masala paste and mix well.
Add red chilly powder,turmeric powder and kashmiri mirch powder and salt and mix well.
Add one cup of water and cover the lid and cook for five mins.
Serve hot.
