INGREDIENTS
Yellow moong dal / lentil powder - 100 gms
Suji - 50 gms
Sugar - 100 gms
Water - 100 gms
Clarified butter / ghee - 100 gms
Mawa / whole dried milk - 50 gms
Roughly chopped cashew nuts - 2 tbsp
Raisins - 2 tbsp
Green cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Kesar / saffron - few strands
METHOD
Grind coarsely yellow moong dal / lentil.
Not too smooth not very coarse too.
Heat clarified butter / ghee in a pan.
Roast the yellow moong dal / lentil on medium flame for 10 mins.
Add suji and roast for 10 mins in simmer.
In other pan add sugar and water till sugar disolves.
Add kesar / saffron,whole dried milk / mawa and roasted yellow moong dal / lentil powder and suji and mix well.
Add green cardamom powder and dry fruits and mix well.
Garnish with dry fruits and serve.
