INGREDIENTS
Parwal / pointed gourd - 250 gms
Chopped onion - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Chopped green chilly - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
METHOD
Wash and cut the edges of the parwal / pointed gourd on both sides and cut into two pieces.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds to crackle.
Add parwal / pointed gourd and saute for 3 - 4 mins.
Add onion and saute for 4 - 5 mins in low flame.
Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,red chilly powder,coriander powde, green chilly and one tbsp of water and mix well.
Add salt and stir fry for 3 - 4 mins in low flame.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with rice or chapatis.
