COCONUT BURFI

Prep Time : 30 mins 
Cooking Time : 20 mins 
Serve : 10

 INGREDIENTS
 Grated dry coconut - 1.5 cup 
Mawa - 1/2 cup
 Jaggery - 500 gms
 Clarified butter - 4 tbsp 
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
 Crushed cashew nuts - 2 tbsp 

 METHOD 
Heat one tbsp clarified butter in a pan now add grated coconut and saute for 2 to three mins. Now add mawa and mix well.
 Heat Jaggery and two tbsp clarified butter in a pan on high flame Cook for 7 - 8 mins until jaggery syrup is thick
 Add grated coconut and mix well
 Cook for 8 - 10 mins till thick consistency
 Add cardamom powder and one tbsp clarified butter and mix well. 
Spread on the grease plate and spread crushed cashew nuts over it. 
Once cooled cut into diamond shape.
