INGREDIENTS
Grated dry coconut - 1.5 cup
Mawa - 1/2 cup
Jaggery - 500 gms
Clarified butter - 4 tbsp
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Crushed cashew nuts - 2 tbsp
METHOD
Heat one tbsp clarified butter in a pan now add grated coconut and saute for 2 to three mins.
Now add mawa and mix well.
Heat Jaggery and two tbsp clarified butter in a pan on high flame
Cook for 7 - 8 mins until jaggery syrup is thick
Add grated coconut and mix well
Cook for 8 - 10 mins till thick consistency
Add cardamom powder and one tbsp clarified butter and mix well.
Spread on the grease plate and spread crushed cashew nuts over it.
