INGREDIENTS
Yellow moong lentil /dal - 1 cup
Cucumber - 1 cub cubes
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Tomato seedless - 1/2 cup cubes
Chopped green chilly - 2
Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Tempering
Oil - 1 tsp
Black mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal / lentil - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 5 - 6
Asafoetida /hing - a pinch
METHOD
Soak the moong dal / lentil over night.
Then drain moong dal / lentil completely.
In a bowl add cucumber cubes,grated coconut,tomato cubes,soaked moong lentil / dal,green chilly,coriander leaves,salt and lemon juice and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add asafoetida,black mustard seeds,urad lentils / dal,curry leaves and tempered it.
