RICE KE GULAB JAMUN


INGREDIENTS
Basmati rice                           -                       1/2 cup
Milk                                      -                       2 cup
Sugar                                     -                      2 cup
Water                                     -                      2 cup
Baking powder                        -                      a pinch
Maida /all purpose flour           -                       1 tsp
Cardamom powder                   -                       a pinch
Oil                                          -                       1 cup
Mawa                                      -                       50 gms

METHOD
Clean and wash rice.
Rice and milk add in a pressure cooker.
When cooler release the whistle simmer the gas for 15 mins.
Once cooled, open the cooker lid.
When the mixture dried,grind it.
Add baking powder ,mawa and all purpose flour and mix well.
We make a soft and smooth dough.
Divide the dough in 12 equal size balls.
Roll each ball between your palms.
All the balls are made in the same way.
Heat enough oil in a pan.Deep fry all the gulab jamun in medium flame.
Strain extra oil and keep aside'

For the sugar syrup
Heat sugar and water in a pan,keep it medium flame for 10 mins.
When it gets thick ,it means syrup is ready.
Add cardamom powder.
Add fried gulab jamun and serve hot.
