INGREDIENTS
For tikki
Boiled n mashed potatoes - 2
Finely chopped green chilly - 1
Finely chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Bread crumbs - 2 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
For chole
Boiled chole - 1 cup
Finely chopped onion - 1
Finely chopped tomato - 1
Finely chopped green chilly - 1
Finely chopped coriander leaves - 1tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Roasted cumin seeds powder - 1 tsp
Black salt - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Sweet curd - 2 tbsp
Papri - 4 - 5
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Sweet tamarind chutney - 2 tbsp
Green coriander leaves chutney - 2 tbsp
Nylon sev - 2 tbsp
METHOD
For tikki
Take a large bowl add boiled n mashed potato,red chilly powder,ginger garlic paste,green chilly,coriander leaves,salt ,cumin seeds powder and bread crumbs and mix well.
Divide the dough into equal size balls.
Shape each ball to flat patties of medium thickness .
All the balls are made in the same way.
Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the the potatoes tikki in a medium flame
For chole
Boil the chole in a pressure cooker add turmeric powder,salt,ginger garlic paste and one cup of water. After one whistle simmer the flame for ten mins.
Take a large bowl add boiled chole,onion,,tomato,green chilly,coriander leaves, and mix well.
Take a plate and add chole now add aloo tikki and spread some sweet curd,green chutney and sweet tamarind chutney. Now Sprinkle black salt,salt,red chilly powder,roasted cumin seeds powder and mix well.
Pour lemon juice and mix well/ Garnish with nylon sev and serve immediately.
