ALOO TUK




  • Prep Time : 10 mins
  • Cooking Time: 25 mins
  • Serve : 2

  • Baby potato - 10
  • oil   - for frying
  •  Butter - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/4tsp
  • Aamchur powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Corn flour- 1/4 tsp

  • METHOD 
  • Wash and half done boil the baby potatoes and press it.Now wipe off with a clean towel  and coat with corn flour and deep fry in hot oil.
  • stir occasionally, and fry on medium flame.
  • Fry until the aloo turns golden brown and crisp.
  • Drain off the aloo to remove excess oil. keep aside.
  • To prepare the masala, heat 1 tsp butter.
  • add ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ¼ tsp amchur and ¼ tsp pepper powder ,black salt and ¼ tsp salt.
  • saute on low flame until the spices turn aromatic.
  • now add in fried aloo and mix gently.
  • Finally aloo tuk is ready to enjoy.
