LEMON CAKE

 


Prep Time : 25 mins
Cooking Time : 40 mins
Serve : 4

INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour/ maida   -   3/4 cup
Baking powder   -  1 tsp
Vanilla custard    -  1 tbsp
Butter- 100 gms / 1/2 cup
Sugar  powder    -  3/4 cup
Eggs    -   2
Grated lemon zest-    1 tsp
Lemon juice   - 1 tsp

METHOD
Sieve all purpose flour / maida ,custard powder and baking powder together.
Take a mixing bowl add butter and sugar and mix until creamy and fluffy.
Add grated lemon zest and lemon juice in it.
Beat the egg and add it.
Add all purpose flour mixture and mix well.
Preheat oven to 180 degree c. for ten mins
Grease and dust with flour  9 inch round baking cake pans.
Pour the batter into dish and add crushed cashew nuts, almonds and raisins.
Bake for 40 mins. in the preheated oven.
Now the lemon cake is ready.
Check by inserting a knife, if it comes out clear it done..
