LAYERED NIMKI


Prep Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 25 mins
Serve : 8

INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour - 2 cup
Salt - to taste
Oil - 1/4 cup for kneading the dough
Carom seeds - 1/4 tsp
Onion seeds - 1/4 tsp
Oil - for frying

INGREDIENTS
Take a bowl add all purpose flour,salt,carom seeds,onion seeds and 1/4 cup of oil and ,mix well.
With the help of water make a stiff dough.
Cover with muslin cloth and keep aside for 30 mins.
Divide the dough into ball and roll out the thin chapati.
Spread oil over the chapati and sprinkle some flour and fold the chapati from one side now similarly fold from other side .
Again grease some oil over the chapati and sprinkle some flour and fold the chapati from other side like lifafa.
Now roll out the chapati and again grease the oil and sprinkle some flour and now again fold it and roll out.
Now cut the layered nimki.
Heat enough oil in a pan and deep fry the layered nimki in a medium flame until golden brown and crisp.
